Experience

He successfully advises importers and exporters in matters pertaining to customs authorities and courts, including cases involving the application of trade and free trade agreements, origin verification procedures, foreign trade audits, export promotion programs such as IMMEX (Maquila Program), PROSEC, Rule Eight Permits and certifications in their different modalities.

He also has extensive experience in litigation matters, defending the interests of importers and exporters in proceedings regarding seizures of goods, determining tax credits, filing appeals for revocation, annulment claims, indirect and direct amparo claims, etc., with administrative and judicial authorities, Collegiate Courts, Federal Court of Administrative Justice, District Courts and the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

He worked at the Tax Administration Service and pioneered obtaining authorizations to operate the strategic bonded warehouse customs regime for a company in the coffee sector and the first VAT and IEPS Certifications, in a pre-operational period.
